I love that Ella and Aiden are such great friends. They are only 6 mo. apart which means they will always be in the same grade in school, and I'm sure they'll get thrown together for other things. They have distinct personalities; Aiden is all boy and all about the fun and action, Ella is a little mom, always trying to take care of everyone and make sure that everyone does what they're suppose to do. And they are inseparable.
They are great companions and will play for hours together. They've spent all of this morning chasing one another up and down the hallway and into the ottoman. Things are not always so perfect. The other day Aiden came into the kitchen to tell me, "Mom! No Ella!" I called Ella in and asked what had happened. Her response was, "I push". I sent Ella to time out. And in a matter of seconds, Aiden had gone to the time out spot and was comforting a crying Ella. I guess seeing his sister upset was worse than what she had done to him. They are truly best friends.

what a cute post! i always tell people i have four kids so they always have someone to play with!! and it's true! when ellie goes off to kindergarten next year, i am going to have one sad aidan! i'm so glad you guys started a blog! it will be so fun to keep up with your adorable family!! :)
