I love books. I love to buy them and read them. I love to read to my kids and I love when they read to me. And I LOVE that I have a son who seems to love reading as much as me. Luca loves books too. He always has. We've read with him since he was a baby and it's been one of his favorite activities as he's gotten older. And now, he is reading to me! He brings books home everyday and it's the first thing he wants to do when he gets home (after eating a snack of course, he's still a boy!). He even went to his English teacher and asked for a 2nd book to go home each night, he was only getting a Spanish one before. Hooray for reading!

not just a reader, and GOOD reader. I was so impressed the other day when he was reading. How many six year olds can not only read smoothly and well, but in two languages? GO LUCA!
I remember when he had Barnyard dance memorized. It was so cute. Good for Luca--it's nice to see the outcome of what we strive for as a parent as well. Good job Suzi!
we love books, too... since we're both total bookworms, i'm happy to report that we're also raising some book lovers! i actually put reading on timeout from noah!!!! (he would read ALL day instead of cleaning his room, etc.) i'm glad luca's loving his books in TWO languages! wow!
